Supergrouping, Nonlinear Beamforming, and Seismic Time-frequency Masking Home by Andrey Bakulin

Pre-stack data enhancement remains a critical task for land processing, especially for a modern high-channel-count or single-sensor data. Supergrouping and nonlinear beamforming are novel approaches rapidly becoming a workhorse of data enhancement for FWI and reflection processing. Seismic time-frequency (guided by beamforming) is a breakthrough approach that goes to the next level and preserves higher frequencies beyond what can be achieved with any local stacking.
